Community-Based Day Program
Community activities and connection.
The Community-Based Day Program at Progress allows individuals to experience all aspects of community living through cultural outings, social enrichment opportunities and volunteer activities. These programs at Progress have a valuable impact on the people receiving services as well as a positive impact on our common community. Individuals gain a sense of self worth and connection with the community while exploring parks, neighborhoods, restaurants, museums, grocery stores, clothing shops, and other businesses and non profits. Community-Based Day Program provides people with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to be active, productive citizens.
Recently, Progress has added an Arts Program as a part of our Community-Based Day Program. The Arts Program connects individuals from all programs with enriching arts and culture activities in the community, including but not limited to: museums, music performances, dance, theater, and much more.
